Alright, I have absolutely no problem in admitting that I, just like everyone else on this wonderful planet of ours, am far from perfect. I have a long history of poor decision making, questionable interests through an addictive personality and self-absorbency amongst other defining attributes. That being said, I am more than accepting of all people in understanding that we do not come barreling out of the womb with our heads on straight and a clear picture of what is socially acceptable, what the world expects of us or who exactly we are without trial and error. I, out of sheer interest and word of mouth made the choice of tuning into MTV's latest abomination, "The Jersey Shore" and can't help but think to myself...wow. I have come to realize this show is solely based off the stereotypes of your typical overactive hormone addled, attention thriving, pompous "Italian" prided idealist and that's fine in knowing that this is a small, but alarming percentage of people living such an extravagant lifestyle of sorts. But, and to be honest, I have no idea what people find so compelling about this to the point that it is moderately mortifying being looped into this generation. Maybe this is all just like a ugly car accident that you can't help but continue watching. I admit that just like a Craigslist "Missed Connection" or Fred Durst video, at the end of it's viewing, I can't help but feel great about the person I am and fortunate for the life I live knowing it could all be so much worse. However, the idea that one could possibly find something funny in watching a girl get straight up fucking punched in the face by a grown male is disturbing, no matter how annoying she may or may not be or whether you feel it was deserving(which in cases like these, it never is). Don't get me wrong, sure, I'm fucked too between justifying and/or glorifying the events of Columbine High School and often making tasteless remarks for shock value, but I really can't fathom the entertainment in this or how anyone would find it acceptable by any means. It's all really sad actually. It's quite apparent that this in an unfortunate ordeal that occurs more often than not in this world with overwhelming amounts of pathetic men, insecure about themselves to the point that they need to over-compensate and take advantage of the weak. Most of which would never be able to hold their own against someone of the same sex and of same size. I can only imagine how my grandparent's would feel upon watching what being Italian is now viewed as. I understand taking pride in your nationality and heritage, but to put out this negative image and have millions of outsider's take this in as actual information and fact is just awful. I mean, fuck...I'm admittedly Italian, however find no real advantage in parading around like a douchebag or what real significance it has made on my life other than a chest full of hair, occasional anger issues and a love for pasta and Robert De Niro. But hey, to each their own I suppose. I can't wait till the day survival of the fittest kicks in and weeds out the fucking weak. These motherfuckers are surely first to go.

Dear anyone who mocks me out in regards to my undeniable love for shitty female fronted pop music:

Anyone who says Lady Gaga is untalented and/or writes/records awful songs is either unintelligent or jealous. Were you selling out stadiums at the age of twenty-two? Did you have five Grammy nominations? No, you were either masturbating to internet porn, watching television or playing in a shitty hardcore/punk/indie/metal/who the fuck cares band that people soon forgot about after the certain genre trend ended. I understand it is within the punk rock manifesto to rebel against selling out and signing to a major label or receiving a profit from making music the common person loves, but i guarantee anyone would do the same if thrown a lot of money. Anything to prevent ourselves from putting in real work!

Also, while on the topic of entertainment...
Arrested Development is one of those shows in which you cannot watch repeatedly, but going back into it after a few years off, you realize it is still genius.
